Fall is just around the corner, and there’s no better place to be than one of the beautiful farms and orchards in Central Mass. Farms and orchards offer such a wide variety of kid friendly entertainment and fun. So we’ve rounded up over 30 farms and orchards in Central Mass that offer apple picking, peach picking, hayrides, corn mazes, cider donuts, and so much more. LANNI ORCHARDS
We are a family operated farm and offer pick your own apples & seedless grapes as well as concord grapes. Pumpkins will be available this year but in and around our farm stand. All of our PYO items are priced by the pound. So, you get the opportunity to pick as little or as much as you would like! Lanni Orchards presents “The Amazing Bee Corn Maze” this year! You can order tickets online or you can purchase them in our farm stand!
In our farm stand, we carry a nice assortment of locally made items, not to mention all the fruits and vegetables we grow! It is definitely the most wonderful time of the year! There are lots of choices in the fruit & veggie world, get them before they are gone.
At this time of year, our design-your-own caramel apple bar is open every weekend!
We are open year-round and have locally made products along with apple cider, cider donuts, apples, winter squash, and hot mulled cider!
SHOLAN FARMS
Sholan Farms is the last U-Pick orchard in Johnny Appleseed’s birthplace of Leominster, MA. We offer a great selection of Pick Your Own fruits including apples, peaches, raspberries and blueberries. We are open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm.
Situated on a hilltop with panoramic views of surrounding hills and even Boston on a clear day, the farm provides cross-country skiing, walking trails, bird watching, picnic area and a variety of cultural and folk events throughout the year.
Join us September 18 & 19 for Honeycrisp Weekend, or September 25 & 26 for Cream of the Crop Macoun Weekend.
Come back on October 9 (rain date October 10) for our memorable Scarecrows in the Orchard Harvest Festival!
RED APPLE FARM
Red Apple Farm offers Open Air Picking from 9am-7pm daily. Currently picking apples, sunflowers, dig-your-own potatoes and pumpkins. Ornamental corn coming soon! Check our website or follow us on social media for updates and special packages. Our Brew Barn is now open 7 days a week for Lunch and Supper, 12pm to 7:30pm!
Check brewbarnma.com for menus and our live music schedule. Our very own Hard Cider is available on tap there and in our Cidery Tasting Room, and now in cans! As always, stop in our Country Store for your favorite treats like cool cider slushies, homemade fudge, fresh peanut butter and our Yankee Award Winning Cider Donuts.
